About Second Avenue Candles

Hello, my name is Teresa, the owner and creator at Second Avenue Candles. I must be honest, I was never a candle person.  Whenever I came across a candle that was burning I never noticed a scent, I just smelled wax.  To me it was just a waste of money and highly disappointing.  But then it dawned on me why not try making candles  on my own. 

 

I went to my local craft store and got a kit, it did not turn out half  bad. The candles I made were still missing a strong enough scent and good wax melt. So, I started reading up on candle making and trying different techniqueswaxes, wicks, and oils.   Until I came up with a combination that will not disappoint ones’ senses.  After spending a couple of years of making themfor family, friends, and of course, me.  I decided to turn my passion into Second Avenue Candles. 

 

We only use the highest quality of Wax, Fragrance oils, Wicks, and candle containers.  This is done to make sure our candles produce an excellent hot and cold throw for our buyers!
